The chokecherries from this wine were hand picked by volunteers of the Billings County Museum in beautiful Billings County. Billings County is in the western part of North Dakota. We picked up these chokecherries at a very informal ceremony on the state capitol grounds in Bismarck. Representatives from the ND Agriculture Department and the ND Tourism Department assisted in making the day special.
