The Can Pile was built in the 1930's by Max Taubert. The gas station and restaurant was a fixture on Old Highway 10 for many years. Today, the last tidbit of history along Old Highway 10 is in jeopardy of being torn down. You can help. Click for more information.

We have a tremendous group of people in Casselton and the surrounding area that have come together to work on a plan to make sure the Can Pile is not demolished. We cannot let that happen. Many have called it the most unique tourist attraction in the state of North Dakota.
