Mango Melon Wine
Mango melons were custom grown for the Maple River Winery from our long lost hobby farmer near Page, ND. These small melons, sometimes referred to as a vine peach, produce a very small cantaloupe style fruit at harvest. We fermented this fruit to around 10% ABV. Looks very similar to a hard lemonade drink. The flavor is described by great citrus overtones, grapefruit taste, slight acidity, exciting, perfect for summer picnics, and refreshing.
